Welcome to Praygein we are located in South East Iowa. Praygein is home to myself (Lisa), my husband Keith and our two children along with our Schnauzer family. We only breed AKC registered Schnauzers. We choose to keep our breeding program small and manageable so that we have the piece of mind that our Schnauzers are happy, healthy, and ALL receive the attention they deserve, and we can pass the same piece of mind on to you with 10 years of breeding experience and confidence. All of our Schnauzers live in our home as part of the family. We personally feel that this makes for better social skills. We currently have puppies in 11 different states and 2 other countries. We can proudly supply any prospective adopter with references from past Praygein puppy owners. We also invite anyone to contact our vet's office with any questions about our dogs or us personally. Our Standard Schnauzers will be OFA (hips) tested before being bred.

I would have to say my love for the Miniature Schnauzer started in the late 80’s when my Grandma brought a little salt/pepper male home in her coat one evening (my Grandparents raised me). Grandpa and I fell in love at first sight and decided to name him “Ace” because he was number one in our book. In the fall of ‘99 was when the real journey began for me. This was when I purchased my beloved “Phoebe” (now retired), so I guess you could say that one little s/p female was the beginning of Praygein Miniature Schnauzers. We hope you enjoy your look around. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us. Click Here to view our contract.

Please note: We do not offer any outside breedings. Any pictures featured on our website are property of Praygein and may not be reused without permission.
